Bit (b)
The smallest unit of digital data, representing a single binary value (0 or 1).
Byte (B)
Consists of 8 bits. Commonly used to represent a single character of text.
Kilobyte (KB)
Equals 1,024 bytes. Used to measure small files or text documents.
Megabyte (MB)
Equals 1,024 KB. Used for images, audio files, and small programs.
Gigabyte (GB)
Equals 1,024 MB. Used for videos, software, and storage devices.
